Jordan Jaffe's eco-comedy Whirlwind chronicles Bethany Greenbridge, an environment, health, and safety manager at wind developer Arrow Energy, as she is enlisted to try to divert Michael Zrinski, a Wildlife advocate, from challenging the siting of an Arrow wind farm. The situation quickly becomes complicated when Beth becomes romantically entangled with Michael, at the same time as she is also being inappropriately courted her boss, Cooper. Darkly comedic and chalked full of twists and turns, Whirlwind investigates the uneasy intersection between science, business, and sexual politics in "going green".
